Cancer Care

Nationally Recognized Cancer Care at Baptist Health

Knowledge is power in the fight against cancer. The physicians and employees of Baptist Health are dedicated to providing information to help you make sense of your cancer diagnosis and treatment options.

A cancer diagnosis can be among the most frightening news a person can receive.

At Baptist Health in Kentucky, we understand that.  Our compassionate caregivers are there for you every step of the way, with a full continuum of cancer care, including diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, education, support, prevention, research and long-term follow-up.

One of the most advanced cancer programs in the region for quality of care, outcomes and patient safety.

No matter where in Kentucky you call “home,” we’re close to it. Think of us as your neighbors — friends who care about you and how you’re doing.

And because we care, we offer a comprehensive oncology program with extensive clinical capabilities and technology. We have the right tools in our arsenal, such as the new linear accelerator, VARIAN True Beam, which reduces overall treatment time. Our NOVALIS radiotherapy machine and CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System both offer precise, non-invasive treatment protocols.

With our statewide cancer program, Baptist Health is approaching cancer care in a collaborative fashion that positively impacts the health of Kentuckians. Standardization of available technology, treatment protocols and cancer screening programs are planned for every Baptist Health hospital in Kentucky.

Our statewide system of cancer care services offers:

  • Convenient access to the most advanced cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment options available.
  • Streamlined care for people with difficult or rare cancers, and consultations for second opinions on the most challenging medical cases.
